Welcome to our main Karate page at Renseikan Dojo. Our Dojo is a full-time martial arts school providing martial arts instruction for students in the Durham Region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa) and east Toronto (Scarborough).

Renseikan's Karate dojo offers beginners and advanced belt Karate classes for children, adults and families. We also provide a special Early Start Karate class for children ages 4 and 5 which introduces younger children to the various basic movements.

Our style of Karate is Matsubayashi-Ryu Shorin-Ryu Karate-do, a traditional, non-competitive Okinawan martial art. Our instructors emphasize students' self-development and individual progress through rigorous, disciplined training in the basic movements, kata and partner work and Weapons.
